I am a single woman in Western WA. Like so many I have never had to do this. I was laid off October 2009. After this I ended up in the hospital with a blood clot that threw off into my lungs.
I am now able to work again, THANK GOD! I found part time work, and I am taking every bit of it I can, while continuing to seek other part time, and or full time work.
I have managed to survive until now and need $500.00 for September rent. I will be closing this lease after that and seeking other houseing arrangements. (September will end my lease, and I have good rental history.. so far).
I have gone to, and continue to seek local help.
Any help will be much appreciated, and WILL go directly to rent.

HELLO PLEASE HELP US PAY OUR RENT. AT THE BIGGINING OF THE LEASE WE WERE GOOD,WE HAD OUR SAVING BUT NOW THAT I GOT MADICAL CONDITIONS I HAD TO LEAVE MY JOB AND NOW MY HUSBAND IS WORKING AND PLUS WE HAVE TO PAY THE HOSPITAL. WE ARE SHORT ON THE RENT BECAUSE I HAD SOME OTHER IMPORTANT BILL TO PAY. AND NOW MY LANDOWNER IS MAKING ME PAY MORE THAN IT IS FOR THE RENT. I WAANT TO PAY HIM THE NORMAL RENT BUT HE DOESNT WANT TO ACCEPT IT. MY HUSBAND DOES NOT GET PAID MORE THAN 800.00 AND HE IS MAKING ME PAY $945.00 AND THEY ARE CHARGING ME $65.00 EVERYDAY. HE ASK ME TO TELL SOMEBODY TO LET ME BORROW MONEY BUT HONESTLY, I CANNOT BE ASKING TO BORROW MONEY EVERYDAY. I CALL HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS SO SORRY THAT I WAS ONLY GOING TO PAY FOR THIS MONTH THAT I WAS NOT WILLING TO PAY MORE THAN WHAT THE RENT WAS OFFERED AND HE SAID THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE IF I WAS TO LEFT THE HOUSE. I WAST TO PAY 400.00 DOLLAR MORE FOR THE TERMINATION FEES AND I WAS STILL GOING TO PAY THE RENT AS IF I WAS STILL LIVING THERE. THEY DONT GET THAT I DONT HAVE THE SUFFICIENT MONEY TO PAY THE RENT. AND I REALLY WANT TO MOVE OUT BECUASE THEY ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING THAT MY LIFE HAS CHANGED ALOT THAT IM NOT WORKING AND I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS.

Hello, we are a family of 5 in need of getting caught up on our rent. My husband recently transitioned into a new job, that being the reason we are behind. We have gotten everything else up to par except the rent. We owe 375 for December and 550 for January, any help would be greatly appreciated. We can give you the info and you can send it directly to the rental office.
Thank you and God bless!

PLEASE, Help us pay our rent.
My husband has been laid off after a stroke and the unemployment has ended. We lost our home and have been renting. We cannot pay our rent of $1,500 and our landlord says she has to pay her mortgage and will evict. We have two children 17 and 11. We have no family to help us my parents are dead and my husband has no family. We are good people and have never asked for help before. I have tried EVERY local agency for help and get the same story there is no money left to give. Please do not let us be homeless before Xmas and live in our 11 year old van. My husband will have a job in his field of HVAC after the Holidays they are slow now so we can pay our bills then. We just need help for this month to get back on our feet. My kids will not have much of a Christmas and they understand, but the best gift would be staying in our home for the Holidays. God Bless
